Agreement to Terms

By installing and using Design System Sync ("the Plugin"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin.

Description of Service

Design System Sync is a Figma plugin that enables users to:

• Export design variables and components as JSON
• Create Pull Requests in GitHub and Bitbucket repositories
• Sync design systems between Figma and code
• Track changes in design tokens and components

License and Use

Permitted Use

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Plugin for:

• Personal design system projects
• Commercial design system projects
• Team collaboration within organizations

Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Plugin
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the Plugin for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Plugin to violate any laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute the Plugin

Subscription Plans

Free Tier

• 5 exports per month
• Access to basic features
• Community support
• No credit card required

Pro Tier

• Unlimited exports
• All features included
• Priority support
• Code comparison and review tools
• React code copy functionality
• Pricing: $8.33/month (billed annually at $100/year - Save 17%)

Payment Terms

Billing

• All payments processed through Stripe
• Monthly subscriptions billed every 30 days
• Annual subscriptions billed yearly
• Automatic renewal unless canceled
• Prices in USD (United States Dollars)

Refund Policy

After 30 days:

• No refunds for partial months/years
• Cancel anytime to stop future billing
• Access continues until end of billing period

Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through the Customer Portal
• No cancellation fees
• Access continues until end of billing period
• Data retained for 30 days after cancellation

Third-Party Services

GitHub Integration

• You must have a GitHub account
• You provide your own Personal Access Token
• You are responsible for managing your token security
• Subject to GitHub's Terms of Service

Bitbucket Integration

• You must have a Bitbucket account
• You provide your own API Token (with full access)
• You are responsible for managing your credentials
• Subject to Bitbucket's Terms of Service

Stripe Payments

• All payments processed by Stripe
• Subject to Stripe's Terms of Service
• We do not store credit card information

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities under your account
• Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws
• Backing up your Figma files independently
• Managing your GitHub/Bitbucket credentials securely
• Reviewing Pull Requests before merging

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Plugin is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Plugin, you agree to:

• Our data collection practices
• Storage of your data on our servers
• Use of Stripe for payment processing

Intellectual Property

Plugin Ownership

Design System Sync, including all code, design, and documentation, is owned by Alexander Burgo and protected by copyright laws.

Your Content

You retain all rights to:

• Your Figma designs
• Exported JSON files
• Design system documentation
• Any content you create using the Plugin

Warranties and Disclaimers

We do NOT warrant that:

• The Plugin will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All bugs will be corrected
• The Plugin will meet your specific requirements
• Exported data will be 100% accurate (always review before merging)

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for data loss (backup your files!)
• We are not liable for third-party service outages (GitHub, Bitbucket, Stripe)

Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access to the Plugin
• That the service will be available at all times
• We may perform maintenance with or without notice

Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Update these Terms with notice
• Refuse service to anyone for any reason

Termination

By You

• Cancel your subscription anytime
• Uninstall the Plugin from Figma
• Request account deletion

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the service or support team
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before pursuing legal action, please contact us to resolve the issue informally.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of your residence.

Arbitration

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations.
